If the kimono coat is out...winter is here....

Better photo on its way :)

As the title of this post says, winter is here, and I know this because as I left for work this morning I was wearing my bright red 'Kimono' coat from Topshop.

I adore this coat, and bought it in January this year in the post Christmas sales, ready for winter '10 in replacement of my very old black wool jacket.

I can literally wear it with anything but looks at it's best with a dress, and I don't care that it is last winters style, because I can latch it onto a winter '10 style easily with a good blagging session, such as 'it falls in to the bold colours range, or dress coats'....sorted :)

So if I can do it girls you can to, don't buy a NEW coat for the new season, use last years and dress it up to fit in....if you must - why not just be different :)

Add a waist belt, or put large buttons on it instead, and if it's a lovely black coat just wear a bold coloured or printed scarf to jazz it up.

What I wore (Better photo coming tomorrow,my battery died) -
Red Kimono coat - Topshop
Black body con skirt - H&M
Swallow Brooch - Miss.Selfidge

...and so to bed

Everyday on my way home from work, next to the traffic lights that I always get stuck in is the beautiful bed shop, And So To Bed.

And everyday I stare lustingly at the beds, furniture and linen in through the window while I wait for the ever so tardy green light and dream of how beautiful they would look in my dream house....

However, this evening the green light was particularly sleepy and I got to have a really good nose through the window and instantly fell in love!

This is quite possibly the most beautiful bed I have ever seen, and far surpasses the slay bed I put in my dream house while wondering a dept. store in the late winter with a fellow window shopper.

The killer to dreamer like myself is the £8-9000 a bed like this would set you back.

But a girl can dream

One off denim shorts and jackets for sale!

After a fair few hours of snipping, ripping, sewing, bleaching and fraying, I'm finally happy with my new denim shorts, which were a pair of yucky 90's 3/4 lengths yesterday :)

So, after much practice in the art of making the perfect shorts and the best bleaching techniques, I would now like to announce that I am now offering hand customised, one off denim shorts and denim jackets made to order as part of ReLoved clothing.

If this is something your interested in, just comment on this post.

Country Girl

Looking like you have just strolled out of the country side has never looked better this winter.

Team cable knits with check skirts, wolly tights and chelsea boots or wellies for a great day look, or a twin set and pearls with jobhers and brogues for work :)

What about a coat? I hear you cry.......barbour, harris tweed, flying, parker and faux fur are the coats to be seen in to match your classic outfit on a breezy day next season.

It's time to take the classic good girl look and shake it up a bit.....

How gald I am that I bought my flying jacket years ago and my new fur jacket just arrived...now all I need are new wellies, maybe some chelsea boots and to steal my mums barbour...... :P

Browns, berets, boots and blushing

I have a real thing for Autumn fashion, it is by far my favourite month of the year.

I can still wear my pretty dresses, but now with my favourite wool tights and giant knitted black scarf that almost reaches the floor :)

My military boots are back out on form and my berets are slowing creeping to the front of my wardrobe again.

Oh the joy! Can't it stay Autumn? Warm enough to still show what dress you have on under your coat without freezing to death, yet cold enough to pull off faux fur fancies and knitted loveliness without looking crazy.

Doesn't all these snuggled thoughts scream romanticism? Cuddles in front of the fire while it rains outside, not forgetting a good English cup of tea :)
