Pink cakes and tea for supper?

Today, I decided to make some of those beautifully iced fairy cakes you see all those pretty tv cooks do around the easter/mothers day period :)

The cakes are easy, as is making the butter icing, however, piping icing into a perfect swirl is not as easy as they make it look.

I do think my cake look really cute, and since I made then only a few hours ago and most have been eaten already, they must taste pretty good too, but practise makes perfect on the icing front....good excuse to make more cakes I think and maybe even a cake party for all my girl friends to show them off..... :D x
